Creativity resides in everyone. Whether it is tapped into or not, we all have a created meridian or center. It is that meridian that makes one feel alive, original and unique. There is a certain synergy that happens when creating can’t be described with words.
Art connects our past, present and future as our work is a culmination of our experiences, the end product is the artwork that lives on into the future.
As an artist and art historian, I am always fascinated by the “mark” that an artist makes and texture. My work is a play between 2-D and 3-D as my artwork is made of multiple canvases at various heights that juxtapose in and out. The minimal stripes represent structure, and are orchestrated to create movement, rhythm and united.
