Scott Hofer Home Staging & Art LLC.

Scott was born in raised in a small town about 30 miles north of Indianapolis in Elwood, Indiana. After graduating salutatorian, he attended Wabash College in Crawfordsvile, Indiana where he graduated with a B.A. in Art in 1991. While at Wabash, he also attended Drew University’s New York Semester on Contemporary Art and studied art, architecture, and art history in the spring of 1990. Upon graduation from Wabash, he began his master’s degree at Indiana University and obtained a teaching license from Ball State University in 1993.

In addition to teaching art for 23 years in Brownsburg, he was also the recipient of a Lilly Endowment grant for teachers which allowed him to open his own art studio in the Stutz Building in downtown Indianapolis. As an artist, he had work that was accepted into the Hoosier Salon, the Watercolor Society of Indianapolis, and the Southside Art League of Indiana’s Midwest National Abstract Art Show.

Staging education and training was provided by Barb Schwarz of Stagedhomes.com and Melissa Marro and HGTV’s Matthew Finlason during an advanced staging course taught in Indianapolis. In 2019, he completed another course with Melissa Marro in Jacksonville, Florida. In October of 2019, he attended the IHASP Staging convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

Scott Hofer Home Staging & Art was formed in 2008, and has received the top staging distinction from Tucker Home Services in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
